10 things to cheer yourself up!
1: Watch Movies!
Whether they be girly cheesy chick flicks, or detective/crime and mysterys. Whatever your favourite choice of movie, even if you've seen in 100 times, you know deep down in your heart that even watching it for the 101st time you'll still cry at Titanic and Marley and me. Get yourself a bag of popcorn and a big bar of chocolate, ice cream, hot chocolate/tea and have some you time. Or get your bestie round to watch/laugh and cry with you.
2: Listen to new music!
Have a look on youtube at some up coming and new artists. Even look at the newest videos and go and support the people out there who are doing what they love. Make a new playlist, listen to it in bed and fantasise about becoming famous and designing your dream home.
3: Do something good for someone else!
Helping someone, or giving back is one of the best things you can do. Making someone else happy will deifently help your smile grow on your face. Go give blood, visit your grandma you haven't seen for a year, wash up for your mum. Become a blood donor! Save a life! Make someones day. If you put positive vibes into the universe they will come back to you. Good Karma!
4: Start a new project!
Sometimes, we can be stressed, disheartened and down for many things. If you are already extremely busy maybe this one isn't the best idea, but if you are in need of a distraction. Start a new project. Maybe something like a dolls house for your 5 year old niece you want to renovate, or maybe re decorate the room in your house you've been wanting to do for ages!

Treat yourself to something little, or if you can afford it something big. There's nothing like a package arriving at your door to put a smile on your face. Just make sure you track your parcel so that you don't have to wait an extra day to go and pick it up. Top tip, try and order it so it delivers to your door on a Monday, that way it will make your Monday a whole lot more exciting!
6: Get out and about!
Go and get a pumpkin spiced latte with a friend you haven't seen in a while or see a new movie in the cinema. Go bowling or something you haven't done in ages. Do something new like take a horse riding lesson, ice skating class or blogging class. You never know when you might find something that really clicks with you and gives you a bit of excitement back. Go drink cocktails with your bestie!
7: Go to the beach!
If you're near one, going to the beach on your own when the tide is out is one of the nicest feelings. It's beautiful and peaceful and it's a great place to think. If you're not near a beach then perhaps the park or you're favourite spot?
8: Pamper yourself!
Go to your nearest shop where you can find a bath bomb or two and have lots of fun making bubbles and smelling beautiful in your bath or shower. I recommend LUSH cosmetics, they have a range of yummy smelling fresh face masks, bath bombs, bath melts, shower gels you name it they've got it. They've just brought out there christmas range too! Sprinkle yourself in fairy dust and go away smelling like a candy floss queen.. or king!
9: Baking!
Bake cookies, brownies, pies.. whatever you want and then eat them all! Or.. share them with your family and friends. Everyone loves homemade cookies. Look on Pinterest for some inspiration, theres some fabulous recipes and designs.
10: Love yourself!
