How to start 2018 off right!
1) Get yourself the best nights sleep.
Take a warm bath and pamper, do whatever care routine you like. I decided to take a warm bath with a nice scented bath bomb, shave, cleanse, gave my hair a really good pamper. Shampoo, Condition, Blow dry. Face mask, foot spa the works. Fresh bedding and a large glass of ice water. Slipped into comfy cotton pjs. Sprayed my pillow with pillow spray loaded the beds with blankets and off I went into the best snooze. This morning I awoke from a great nights sleep ready to power through my first day of the best year ever.
2) Waking up.
Upon waking, the first thing you should do is make your bed. Make it look pretty and made so you have that to look forward to later on. Also pick out some Pj's for that night too so it's all ready for bed later. Once you've made the bed it's time to head for the shower. If you lay a nice fluffy towel on the radiator (with the heating on) it's so much more cosy. Cleanse, tone, moisturise. Wash with an uplifting scent. I like to use Snow Fairy (Lush) or Soap and Glory's clean on me in the day and Lush's Twilight at night for the cosy feel. Out of the shower and into comfy work out clothes! I Work out before breakfast as apparently for women it's better to work out on an empty stomach. I'm not sure if that's true don't take my word for it. After my cardio (about 15 minutes) I head to the kitchen and get my first pint of water in, add some lemon/lime slices for an extra detox. (This will help those on dry january). Having water before your breakfast will help kick start your metabolism too. Decide what you feel like having for breakfast. For me I'm on slimming world at the moment so I opt for something on plan and also it helps if it's pretty to look at. (Instagramable) So... Healthy Extra B oat pancakes it is, topped with vanilla yogurt and berries. Yum!
3) Get cleaning
The best way for me to get productive is to make sure my space is clean. Washing up, clothes away, de clutter. Clean space, clean mind. Go through old hand bags and de clutter, do something like this everyday. Start with the kitchen and do the bedroom tomorrow!
4) Sort out your finances!
I know how much stress it can bring if I just ignore how much I spent over Christmas. Just get it done, look at the damage, and make a plan. You'll be proud of yourself tonight for making one!
5) De clutter your friends list on all social media's!
Did someones tweet wind you up recently? Un follow! Everyone changes so if suddenly you don't agree with someone or something anymore.. theres an unfollow button for a reason. Put yourself first!
6) Make a list of everything you want to achieve in 2018!
Then list them in order of importance. Mine includes, getting healthy, blogging more and going on more outings!
7) Put yourself first... ask yourself what makes you happy? Act on it.

Things I have been loving!
Hey Dolls,
Here are some things I really want to share with you that I have been loving recently.
- LUSH - SLEEPY

If you have been struggling with sleep, or perhaps you've been feeling anxious or those late night thoughts are really getting you down. Sleepy is insanely good at getting you to relax and nod off. Just smother it all over your body after a nice warm relaxing bath.
- PEPPERMINT TEA

Brilliant for bloating and easing a fragile tummy. I find peppermint really soothing for your stomach and great in the morning if you're feeling slightly hungover or bloated from last nights kebab.
- SUGAR FREE GUMMY BEARS

For those of you on Slimming World or Weight Watches or those just wanting to be as healthy as possible ( I FEEL YA). These are incredible. Stock up and eat them guilt free. Great for a 4pm snack. They're also vegan and gluten free! WIN
- Barry M Lip Plumper
Super Drug, £4.99.
Much cheaper than Too Faced £22.00 version and relatively similar. ( However I do love TOOFACED) and if you're willing to splash the cash I would recommend, but if you're a poor student like me, this will do just fine. Thanks Barry M!

ACTS OF KINDNESS
HOW TO BE A LIFE SAVER/ACTS OF KINDNESS
A few weeks ago I decided to sign up for the Antony Nolan register. This means that one day if I match up with someone else, I'd be able to donate blood, stem cells or bone marrow. Although I already give blood. My blood group is quite popular however some people have rare blood types and so it's very important to encourage others to give blood if you can.
1) Sign up to Antony Nolan Trust
https://www.anthonynolan.org
If you are eligible, this is a very kind act to do. All you have to do is pop your details in online and they send you a spit kit. Then all you have to do is send a saliva sample back to them to check it's okay for you to give and they send you a thank you note back. They also encourage you to share to your friends what you are doing and urge you to encourage others to follow.
2) Give blood
https://www.blood.co.uk
Again if you are able to it's one of the best things you can do. I believe you must be 17 and not anaemic. They check your iron levels on the day before giving blood anyway though. And hey you get a free biscuit and cup of tea out of it! This is so you don't pass out, and they can check on you for 10 minutes to make sure you're okay.
3) Learn First Aid.
http://www.sja.org.uk/sja/first-aid-advice.aspx
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTgkGflUTk0
If you can take a basic training course great. There are some free courses running sometimes it's just finding them, but if not have a look at free videos online demonstrating CPR, or what to do if someone is having a heart attack/chocking or suffering from shock. From minor things to major incidents, you never know if you'll witness/ be involved so it's always best to be as prepared as you are able to be, because this could be life saving.
4) Leave water outside for animals.
British winter leaves us with a lot of rain, so normally in the winter it isn't too bad, however in hot summer months water can sometimes be luxury for animals particularly wild ones. I care about animals just as much as humans. I'm sure there will be a fox or dog that appreciates a water bowl outside the front of your house or even hidden in the bushes.
5) Feed the homeless
How easy is it to walk past the homeless and think, are you really homeless or are you just trying to make the quick bob or two? You should go with the the first thought and assume they are sitting there because they have to not because they want to. There are many projects you could get involved with where a van load of people deliver hot chocolate and warm sandwiches to get there energy up. Or maybe you have a apple or orange in the bottom of your bag you didn't eat that day at work, you could offer?

How to have an awesome Halloween!
1) Make plans with people
Make sure you're either partying, staying in watching scary movies or getting yourself to the local theme park. It will make your halloween if you actual plan what you are doing. You could invite some friends round to watch your fave halloween movies, or go to the cinema and watch the latest thriller (if you are old enough to get in).

2) Make halloween treats.
Pinterest is a great place to find creative halloween goodies! I tried out these spider web cookies, they look and taste amazing! Toffee Apples are delicious too!
Here are some of my fave recipes:

Whether you are going out or staying in, Halloween is a time for fun. You don't have to dress up scary, you can do whatever you like. This year I am deffo going full out Galinda (Wicked).

4) Make memories!
Take lots of pictures, play halloween related games, and laugh a lot! Bobbing apples is a classic but can be hilarious. Just do it safely!

5) Pumpkins!
It wouldn't be halloween without a pumpkin. I think the best bit is picking them out. So instead of going to your supermarket, make an outing to pick out your favourite orange friend. You could even pick up a pumpkin spiced latte on the way. ;)

Things to do to prepare for spring
Spring is in the air, and we are well and truly in it now. The daffodils are blooming and we are seeing some rays of sun when we are lucky. Spring is a great time to sort out everything and get things done so heres some tips to help shake up your spring.
REARRANGE YOUR FURNITURE.
Whether it be in your bedroom, your kitchen or your whole house, give it a shuffle. You'll be surprised if you move around a piece of furniture it can create a brand new look that leaves you feel rejuvenated and fresh ready for a happy spring time.
BAKE!
With easter coming up nows a great time to try out new recipes you've been seeing on pinterest or instagram. Try these cute little mini egg cakes or this creme egg brownie recipe yum! You could even invite your besties round for afternoon tea.
TAKE MORE PICTURES!
Take pictures, selfie it up smile more and share it all to the world. Pictures make amazing memories so capture very moment
CREATE!
This is me painting pretty plant pots. I love painting or creating outside too!
LOVE MORE!
Send random acts of kindness to the people you love the most. This can be your best friend, mum, boyfriend/girlfriend. Anyone who you care about who deserves a little love. I sent this goodie package over to my sister because I know she's working hard a needs a little love.
TRY SOMETHING NEW!
Nothing says spring like trying something new so head up to that zumba class, skinny dip, listen to music you wouldn't normally listen to,
TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH!
Get those vitamins in, drink plenty of water and get toning up for summer.
CHANGE UP YOUR SKIN CARE ROUTINE!
The weather is changing and so is the way it affects your skin. Make sure you moisturising and priming your skin before makeup application. Also if it's getting warmer it might be worth investing in a slightly warmer shade of foundation if you wear it that is.
ATTEND TO YOUR GARDEN!
Get planting, a lot of gardening is best done in spring time!
GET A NEW STYLE!
Put away the black! I admit my wardrobe is filled with black, and why not it's flattering! But be bold wear that pink skirt you've been saving. Spring is great for trying out colour! Especially pastel!
